Round Force-Sensitive Resistor (FSR) - Interlink 402

Are you trying to find a sensor that is capable of detecting weight, pressure, and squeezing? But wait, do you also need it to be having a low cost yet very easy and simple to use? Relax. We’ve got what you want! The model of it is an interlinked 402 FSR having a sensing region of approximately 1/2 diameter.

The number of presses affects the FSRs since it changes its value in ohms after each time it’s pressed, but what’s noticeable is that although FSR is user friendly and the price is low, yet the accuracy is rarely met. There’s a 10% difference between sensors from each other. That’s why put in mind that you’ll get an approximate number, not a precise exact number.

What are the components of this product? Basically, it’s made of plastic, while having the connection tab crimped into very delicate material. All you have to do in order to get the most suitable way of connection is through plugging them into a breadboard; you can also use a connector that has a clamp style such as female header, terminal block, or even alligator clips!

Note that soldering is possible but you need to be careful and FAST because anything wrong can melt the plastic which results in a destroyed FSR!
