This awesome product is a small, light, low-power module that can be easily integrated. It can be used for decoding nearly any kind of 1D (striped) barcode in your project. Also, instead of using scanning mirror assembly, we have put a little camera that is able to take 100 photos per second which means the probability of having it damaged is now reduced! *WOW*


It’s a very user friendly module, and not to forget that it’s also very powerful! It has a PS/2 interface instead of a USB and acts like an actual keyboard, note that it’s powered over 5V! You can do some basic configuration by powering it up and 'scanning' in special barcodes in the manual. For example you can change the delay between 'typed' characters, or what the terminating character, if any, should be, just like all barcode scanners.
