The third level of our Arduino workshops is here! In this level, you will deal with wireless communication and learn about the different communication types. You will build your own remote control, RF technology and controls LED from your mobile. You will get the chance to unleash your inner inventor! You will also get the opportunity to see UAE’s first makerspace!

Date & Time: Saturday, 10th of February 2018, TBD at 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM.

Location: Origin Base HQ.

Objectives and Workshop Sequence:

The workshop would consist of three tasks as follows:

  1. An introduction about wireless communication, and the different ways devices used.
  2. Explanation and conducting the first experiment, where you’ll built a remote control to control the switching on and off of a LED.
  3. Explanation and conducting the second experiment, where you’ll Xbee wireless device to used send data.
  4. The last experiment will be controlling the switching on and off of a LED from a mobile application using Bluetooth technology.

This workshop does not require previous knowledge of electronics. The workshop will be conducted by experts that have years of experience in electronics and prototyping.
